InVenture supported the process of attracting an investor for the BIOLEX project — an unfinished production site for the deep processing of agricultural raw materials to produce dry sunflower lecithin in Kharkiv Region.
The project is located in the village of Koviagy, Bohodukhiv District, Kharkiv Region. The production site includes a 2.76 ha land plot designated for industrial use, an active railway spur connected to Koviagy station, asphalt road access, its own 1,000 kW transformer substation, a well, wastewater treatment facilities, and other engineering utilities.
The BIOLEX project envisages the creation of a small-scale production facility for dry powdered lecithin from phosphatide concentrate. The designed capacity of the enterprise is the processing of 5 metric tons of phosphatide concentrate per day, or around 1,500 tons per year, producing up to 1,000 tons of dry powdered lecithin and 450 tons of extraction oil.
At the time of the investor search, around €3.3 million had already been invested in the project, representing approximately 80% of the total implementation cost. The additional investment required to complete the works and launch production was estimated at approximately €0.8 million.
The project assets include a production building with a total area of 2,400 m², an administrative and amenity building and production laboratory with an area of 325 m², a materials warehouse, a modular transformer substation, pellet-fired steam and hot water boiler houses, an underground storage facility for liquid components, a fire water reservoir, a grounding and lightning protection system. The territory is fully fenced and has a hard-surface pavement.
